PEANUTS – HOW HE GOT HIS NAME!
Peanuts told us this story in his email!!!
Which brings me to the reason I have the nickname "Peanuts". Casey Spooner (the frontman of FS) and I were in the theatre company Doorika together. In a play called the Forgery, Casey addressed me on stage as Peanuts, then did so during the FS show at Gavin Brown Enterprise Gallery. The show was a success and the name stuck. I also wear a flimsy pair of red vinyl briefs during the song "Turn On" so the name REALLY stuck- no mystery there...."

SWEET THUNDER
Lizzy and Casey were both in the band called The Sweet Thunder. This is what Lizzy said in her email to me: "All of our songs were inspired by Niagra Falls. We did indeed record a full CONCEPT album that was produced by Bobby Conn – if you don't know him you should track his stuff down and TOTALLY buy all his CD's as he is a genius! Unfortunately, we never actually finished production/ mixing, etc., cause Bobby was on tour, no money, blah, blah, blah. . . Along with a bunch of other downtown NYC freakzoids such as. . . Jody Mechanic – of Mona Trona fame (another awesome musician) Kelly Kuvo (who co-founded the band and ran the show – she was in a Chicago bands called the Scissor Girls. . .) Heather and Peter, keyboards and trumpet respectively – they live in
India now, Gavin (the other co-founder – he has a magic act called The Magic Satin) and Alex Eiserloh who is in an on-going project with me, called StarTime – we sing sort of R&B influenced disco – we call it FALSEGHETTO. Kelly Kuvo and I are planning on blowing the dust off the tracks and finishing up the record this year – but don't look for us on Amazon anytime soon. . . "

QUOTES
"If Fischerspooner fails, it will be in hypnotic, erotic, or passionately imperfect ways."
